Amy J. Phillips, Esquire

Amy received her J.D. from the Dickinson School of Law of the Pennsylvania State University in May, 2000, and was admitted to practice law in Pennsylvania in 2000. Amy joined the York County Bar in 2001 and, since then, has concentrated her practice on all aspects of family law including, but not limited to, divorce, custody, support, adoptions, pre-nuptial agreements and otherwise.

Amy served as the Chair of the York County Family Law Section from January 2018 through December 2018. Amy also served on Council for the Pennsylvania State Family Law Section from July 2015 through July 2018 and will begin a second three-year term on Council in July 2019. Amy has also served on the Programming and Nominating Committees for the Pennsylvania State Family Law Section. Amy is a former Comments Editor of the Pennsylvania Family Lawyer. Amy also serves in the House of Delegates for York County. Amy continues to be active in the State and local Family Law Sections as well.

Amy also has experience in handling collaborative family law cases as well as prior training in Parenting Coordination. Amy also has some training in mediation.

Amy was named a Rising Star Super Lawyer among attorneys by Philadelphia Magazine in 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2010, which designation reflects up and coming attorneys under the age of forty (40) and/or in practice less than ten (10) years.
